Hillary Clinton's Visit

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Naku naman move on...

Let's face it.

Adios.

What Made Me so.. Busy

It's been a long time since my last post in this blog.

Do you believe na one week nalang at deadline na at wala pa kaming nauumpisahan kundi brainstorming. Sana matapos namin in time. Ako nga pala ang gumawa ng script at istorya so i'll be happy to post it here pag natapos na namin, kung matatapos namin.

Pangalawa. Its good.

It made me think and appreciate what i have. I hope this will inspire you..

Ida Scott Taylor once wrote: "Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering."

"Lives better---money, popularity, fame---we ignore what truly matter--the simple things-- like friendship, family, love--the things we probably already had."

Pahalagahan natin kung anong meron tayo ngayon. And still feel bless walking in this side of the earth.....

PETITION to RE-OPEN EMBASSY

OFFICIAL STATEMENT
September 1, 2009

Embassy Super Club wishes to clarify certain matters related to the unfortunate stabbing incident which has been reported in media the past couple of weeks. The said incident occurred in the early morning of 18 August 2009 within the premises of Cuisine Restaurant and Bar (“Cuisine”), an establishment which is adjacent to Embassy Super Club. The previous night being a Monday, Embassy Super Club was closed to the public at the time of the incident.

The victim of the stabbing, Mr. Dennis Navarro II, received immediate medical attention and has, in fact, already been discharged from hospital.

The Club recognizes that the city government of Taguig has deemed it proper to close Cuisine pending the completion of its investigation of the incident. Embassy Super Club, however, has sought the reconsideration of the Taguig city government’s simultaneous closure of the Club inasmuch as the incident occurred in Cuisine which is a distinct and separate establishment from the Club. Embassy Super Club operates under entirely different management from Cuisine. It likewise employs staff, and deploys security personnel, all of whom are different from those employed by Cuisine. Further, the Club adopts more stringent security measures and maintains more technologically advanced security systems than those of Cuisine, all of which ensure the safety of the Club’s patrons. These include: walk-thru metal detectors, drug-sniffing dogs, 60 security personnel, a full-time security consultant, and 50 CCTV cameras (which are 4 times more than those installed in Cuisine).
The reconsideration is likewise being sought on behalf of the 150 people who are presently employed by Embassy Super Club, none of whom had any participation in the incident which occurred in Cuisine, but all of whom are now currently without income and unable to support their dependent families as a result of the continued closure of the Club.

The fact that the incident did not occur within the Club’s premises notwithstanding, the management of Embassy Super Club has extended full support and cooperation to the Taguig City-PNP, and has undertaken to adopt the additional security recommendations of Taguig City Chief of Police, PS/SUPT. Camilo Cascolan.

Embassy Super Club hopes that the foregoing clarifications will warrant the reconsideration by the Taguig city government of its closure order against the Club.

PETITION to RE-OPEN EMBASSY:
Pls sign in the link below

http://www.PetitionOnline.com/EMBASSY/petition.html
Let's support this petition, the stabbing incident was happened in Cuisine and not in the Club proper.

. At mai-explain nya yang kalandiang ginawa nya. hehe... -dencio

A couple of days ago, an embarrasing scene was played on tv when a flip
general was carried on someone else shoulder so he wouldnt get wet when
he stepped on a banka boat . the american officer on the other hand waded
on the water and stepped on the banka without any help. See the
symbolism on why the philippines have problems ?

I think the Filipino General should be fired. How could he win the war
against the Abu Sayaf? Eh, tubig lang takot na siya.. Nakakahiya!!
he he he he he he he he

BAGONG PEDICURE SIGURO ANG LOKO.

Send this to all your friends and hopefully this will circulate back to the Philippines para mapahiya itong General na ito.

UPDATE: General na ayaw mabasa di parurusahan
(Pilipino Star Ngayon)

At kasama sa rule sa pagpasa nya ng tagged na to eh ang "Name 7 things about yourself that people might find interesting." So, I'll start.

And I'm planning to lessen it, as in half. *wink

2) Channel 2 ang pinanonood ko hehe... Team Kapamilya ako. yeah yeah yeah!

3) Tatlong beses na akong nagpalipat lipat ng kolehiyo, at tatlong beses na akong nagshi-shift ng kurso, hehe...from AMA-makati, Letran, at Perpetual.. from IT, Tourism, and finally, ang tinodo ko na, one more year eh graduate na rin sa wakas ng BS Commerce majoring in Business Management, Marketing, with minor in HRM. Cool...

Nananadya. Minsan sinagot ko nga. Ayun natakot naman at tumagal pa ako ng 2 more years bago ako pinilit na mag resign. As in force to resign. My fault. I know. MALAKI NANG PINAGBAGO KO NGAYON. Ayaw mong maniwala???? hehehe....

Taxation, Accounting, Practicum, World Litterature, Economics, Out-reach at Work Ed.

That's It!, i'm trying to be creative. And all are facts. =)

Sabi sa rules ipasa ko daw sa iba. pero kung blogger ka rin at trip mo to, your free to grab it! =)

College Drop Out But Billionaires

They are Billionaires and, they drop out of college. I once read it in the book- "Law Of Leverage".

NAH......! not for this self made Billionaires.
I just want to share this with you.

This speech that Larry Ellison (Oracle CEO) gave at Yale University to the Graduating class of 2000. I don't know if this is true. But i've seen this in the book Im reading a while ago.

"Graduates of Yale University, I apologize if you have endured this type of prologue before, but I want you to do something for me. Please, take a good look around you. Look at the classmate on your left. Look at the classmate on your right. Now, consider this: five years from now, 10 years from now, even 30 thirty years from now, odds are the person on your left is going to be a loser. The person on your right, meanwhile, will also be a loser. And you, in the middle? What can you expect? Loser. Loserhood. Loser Cum Laude.

In fact, as I look out before me today, I don't see a thousand hopes for a bright tomorrow. I don't see a thousand future leaders in a thousand industries. I see a thousand losers. You're upset. That's understandable.

After all, how can I, Lawrence "Larry" Ellison, college dropout, have the audacity to spout such heresy to the graduating class of one of the nation's most prestigious institutions? I'll tell you why. Because I, Lawrence "Larry" Ellison, second richest man on the planet, am a college dropout, and you are not. Because Bill Gates, richest man on the planet-for now anyway-is a college dropout, and you are not. Because Paul Allen, the third richest man on the planet, dropped out of college, and you did not. And for good measure, because Michael Dell, No. 9 on the list and moving up fast, is a college dropout, and you, yet again, are not.

Hmm ... you're very upset. That's understandable. So let me stroke your egos for a moment by pointing out, quite sincerely, that your diplomas were not attained in vain. Most of you, I imagine, have spent four to five years here, and in many ways what you've learned and endured will serve you well in the years ahead. You've established good work habits. You've established a network of people that will help you down the road. And you've established what will be lifelong relationships with the word "therapy." All that of is good. For in truth, you will need that network. You will need those strong work habits.

You will need that therapy. You will need them because you didn't drop out, and so you will never be among the richest people in the world. Oh sure, you may, perhaps, work your way up to #10 or #11, like Steve Ballmer. But then,I don't have to tell you who he really works for, do I?

And for the record, he dropped out of grad school. Bit of a late bloomer.

Finally, I realize that many of you, and hopefully by now most of you,are wondering, "Is there anything I can do? Is there any hope for me at all?" Actually, no. It's too late. You've absorbed too much, think you know too much. You're not 19 anymore. You have a built-in cap, and I'm not referring to the mortarboards on your heads.

Hmm ... you're really very upset. That's understandable.

So perhaps this would be a good time to bring up the silver lining. Not for you, Class of '00. You are a write-off, so I'll let you slink off to your pathetic $200,000-a-year jobs, where your checks will be signed by former classmates who dropped out two years ago.

Instead, I want to give hope to any underclassmen here today. I say to you, and I can't stress this enough:

LEAVE. Pack your things and your ideas and don't come back. Drop out. Start up. For I can tell you that a cap and gown will keep you down just as surely as these security guards dragging me off this stage are keeping me dow..."

He is so mean haha!... Anyway hindi lang si Larry Ellison ang richest college drop out, not to mension na some of them are actually a self confessed marijuana users a.k.a. Pot heads haha... This billionaires are awesome! Here's the list...

  • Sir Richard Branson

Estimated net worth: 8.6 billion USD

Sir Branson left school when he was only 16. Ironically, his first successful business was publishing a magazine called Student. Today, Branson is known for his brand Virgin, which includes Virgin Records, Virgin Atlantic Airways, and over 300 other companies. Also adding to his grandeur, Sir Branson bought his own 79-acre Caribbean island when he was just 24 and he was knighted in 1999.

  • Billionaire Dean Kamen

    Dean Kamen

Estimated net worth: Unclear, but thought to be in the billions USD

Dean Kamen, a prolific and ingenious inventor, dropped out of Worcester Polytechnic Institute before graduating. Although best known for the Segway PT, Kamen holds more than 80 US patents and has created many products such as the AutoSyringe and iBOT robotic wheelchair. When Kamen travels to work, he has to decide which of his two helicopters to take. For longer trips, he pilots his own private jet. He also owns a small island near Connecticut that generates its own electricity from wind.

  • Billionaire Bill Gates

    Bill Gates

Estimated net worth: 58 billion USD

Bill Gates has topped the Forbes list of “The World’s Richest People” continually since 1995. Gates took an interest in programming while attending preparatory school in Seattle. To earn time on early shared computers, Gates and his classmates offered to debug corporate software. When he was 14, Gates earned $20,000 from his first programming venture. After scoring a near-perfect 1590 on his SATs, Gates enrolled at Harvard but left, without a degree, to co-found “Micro-Soft”. Today, one of Gates’ homes in Washington has an annual property tax of about $1 million. In 2006, Gates claimed that he wished he wasn’t the world’s richest man, because he disliked the attention it brought.

  • Billionaire Paul Allen

    Paul Allen

Estimated net worth: 18.0 billion USD

Paul Allen befriended Bill Gates while they were both attending a private school in Seattle. Allen went on to attend Washington State University, but dropped out after two years. He was also the one who convinced Bill Gates to drop out of Harvard in order to start Microsoft. The two co-founded the company in 1975, but Allen has distanced himself from the company since then. In addition to more than 100 million shares of Microsoft, Allen owns 12 professional sports teams, plenty of real estate, and has stakes in dozens of technology and media companies such as Dreamworks Studios.

  • Billionaire Ralph Lauren

    Ralph Lauren

Estimated net worth: 3.6 billion USD

In high school, Ralph Lauren was known to sell neckties to his fellow students. In his yearbook, he stated that he wanted to be a millionaire. He studied business for two years at Baruch College but never graduated. Nonetheless, he has far surpassed his goal of becoming a millionaire. In 2006, Polo Ralph Lauren had a net income of $300 million.

  • Billionaire Steve Jobs

    Steve Jobs

Estimated net worth: 5.7 billion USD

In addition to being the CEO of Apple Inc, Steve Jobs became the largest individual shareholder of the Walt Disney Company after selling Pixar Animation Studios in 2006. In 2007, he was chosen as Fortune Magazine’s most powerful businessman. That’s quite an honor for someone who dropped out of college after just one semester. Although his yearly salary is officially just $1, Jobs has received “executive gifts” including a $46 million jet and nearly 30 million shares of restricted stock. Because capital gains are taxed at a lower rate than salary income, this is also a tax minimization strategy.

  • Billionaire Larry Ellison

    Larry Ellison

Estimated net worth: 18.4 billion USD

In 1977, Larry Ellison put up $2,000 to start what would become Oracle Corporation, the world’s second-largest software company. Ellison briefly attended the University of Illinois as well as the University of Chicago, but received a degree from neither. Today he is known for his extravagant lifestyle. He owns a 450 ft, $200 million yacht, exotic cars including a McLaren F1, over a dozen multi-million dollar estates in California, and several jets, which he is licensed to pilot himself.

  • Billionaire Michael Dell

    Michael Dell

Estimated net worth: 17.2 billion USD

Michael Dell started a computer company called PCs Limited while attending the University of Texas at Austin. It became successful enough that Dell dropped out of school to operate it, and the company eventually became Dell, Inc, with revenues of $57.4 billion in 2007. In 2006, Dell and his wife gave a $50 million grant to the University which he attended but never graduated from.

  • Billionaire Kirk Kerkorian

    Kirk Kerkorian

Estimated net worth: 18.0 billion USD

Kirk Kerkorian dropped out of school in the 8th grade. His first venture was an airline that flew from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. In 1962, he bought 80 acres of land along the Las Vegas strip for just under $1 million, and he continued making his fortune from buying and developing properties in Las Vegas. Currently, Kerkorian has a large stake in all of the following hotels: Bellagio, Excaliber, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, New York-New York, Circus Circus, The Mirage, and more.

Another Blog Award

Katulad ng sinabi ko dati, i am a 'raw' blogger.

Akalain mong ako ang "most read" hehe..

muli, salamat!=)
